Beulah is a very nice addition to our kennel. We raised her in the house with the family from the time she was 8 weeks old. She is the result of a very nice breeding by our good friends, the Weavers, at Johnson Kennels. Thank you Scott, for this excellent quality female. Beulah is a sweetheart with the family and very good with strangers after introduction. However, she is fairly protective until she knows you're supposed to be there. She is a bundle of energy and she has exceptional athleticism. She has excellent conformation all the way around. She is a big girl and she gets thicker and nicer every day. At barely 18 months she has changed a lot in the last few months and she will keep on getting bigger and thicker. Her head has just started to grow. She has great bone thickness and she is straight front and back. She is a perfect breather no matter how winded she is. She is from the last litter Beulah produced before she was retired. I think she is one of those dogs that looks way better in person. I don't think I was able to get a picture to show how nice really she is. Anybody that has taken pictures of bulldogs knows what I mean. She impresses me every time I look at her and I see her every day. She is as nice as they get. Those that know me know I don't say things like that lightly.

UPDATE

When I last put something up on Beulah's page she was just a 12 month pup. I thought she was outstanding at that time . I did not anticipate her getting this much better and better but she did. She is 26 months in these recent pictures. I have to say that Beulah is as nice a female as I have seen. I still don't think these quick shots come anywhere near how nice she is in person. To see how correct and thick and bully she is in person is totally different than in these shots. She is a tall, big boned, broad chested, thick shouldered, beast with rear end like a horse. To top it all off, she moves great and she has a sweetheart disposition. She is the nicest dog I have and nicer than most I have seen. I'm not exaggerating one bit. Come and see her I promise you'll be impressed. Great Job and thanks a million to Scott Weaver and Johnson Kennels.

The quote below is from the John D. Johnson Real American Bulldog Message Board, on 8/6/09

"We lost the original Beulah August, 4th due to health issues associated with old age. It was expected but she will be missed around the J camp, she was a great bulldog. It brought a smile to my face to see the pics of Beulah 2 and know that the line will be carried on and not forgotten. I have only seen pics, but it looks to me as she will be everything that her mother was, and even more! A lot of credit goes to Aaron Rose of Rose Valley kennels. He has done an outstanding job raising this girl. I think she will have a great impact on the Johnson world, and anyone who is lucky enough to get a pup from her will be ahead of the game. I am getting one, and will treasure her for sure! Things wont be the same around here till we get another Beulah. The West coast is well represented by Rose Valley kennels and if we are really lucky maybe Aaron will bring her to the J show one of these days, very few females have the potential to win Best in show, she is one of those! John D. would be proud, I know that I am."          Scott Weaver- Johnson Kennels- The Real American Bulldog
